The College of Mediators is a vibrant and thriving community of mediators who believe in the highest standards of mediation and training provision. Our members practise across a wide variety of fields (family, community, workplace, commercial, intergenerational and more) and come from all sorts of backgrounds. We have many long-standing members who have been mediating for over thirty years and we also have newly-trained members who are just starting out in their role as mediators. We believe in valuing the contributions of all members and being a relevant, supportive membership body to all. The College aims to make membership accessible and fees affordable for a range of mediators and we think you’ll find our membership fees excellent value for money.
For more information about our individual membership types and to apply to join the College please see below.
Some organisations which have individual College members may be eligible to become affiliated to the College of Mediators which gives additional status and benefits. To find out more about this, please see below.
We are now accepting Junior Memberships from young people who have completed an approved Peer Mediation Training course. Membership is via the participating school. Schools wishing to participate in the scheme should apply here: Junior membership (Schools Register)
All practising College members must have a Professional Practice Consultant (PPC)/Supervisor who supports the mediator in her/his reflective learning and professional development. If you are looking for a College-recognised PPC/Supervisor please see below.
