Welcome to the College of Mediators
The College of Mediators is a membership body for mediators working in all areas of practice; family, workplace, community, intergenerational, commercial, restorative practice and more.
The College is also an independent standards-setting organisation which approves mediation training providers.
We work with mediators and organisations nationally, to improve mediation service provision and to develop mediation as a profession. We are one of the member organisations of the Family Mediation Council (FMC) and have a representative on the Board of the FMC. We also liaise with other relevant bodies and government departments to support the ongoing development of mediation in the United Kingdom and further afield.
You can use this website to find a mediator and to see our members’ profiles.
If you want to become a mediator, you can find the right training course for you by searching for upcoming courses offered by our approved foundation training providers.
If you are already practising as a mediator, you can search for suitable Continuing Professional Development (CPD) training offered by our approved CPD training providers.
If you wish to join the College of Mediators, you can download the necessary information and an application form from this site. Very soon, College members will be able to log into the members only section which will contain journal articles, newsletters and lots of other useful resources.
There is also information about the College, its history, standards and structure, as well as a news section which keeps you up-to-date with events and the ongoing work of the College.
We hope you find this website interesting and useful, whatever your reason for visiting us!
