Membership Application

Please complete the form below to apply for membership of the College of Mediators.

The form is in two parts: this first part provides the detail we need in order to assess your application, and helps us to keep the data we hold about you up to date. When you submit this you will be taken to the second part where you can select the appropriate membership category and fee for your membership, and decide how to make your payment.

If you opt to make your subscription payment immediately you'll then be whisked off to Paypal's secure servers where you can complete the transaction using any major debit or credit card (or your Paypal account if you have one, but note that you don't need to have or set up a Paypal account to use this facility).

We won't publish or share your address, phone number or email address without your consent, but we will use this data to contact you.

If you are already a member of the College, don't use this form if you wish to renew your membership. We send details about how to renew via email. If you need to renew, and have not heard from us, please get in touch.

For Family Mediators only
Please send my service/organisation contact details to the Family Mediation Council (FMC) to be made publicly available on their website.


Please provide contact details for your Professional Practice Consultant (PPC)/Supervisor. To facilitate their declaration in support of your membership renewal please provide an up to date email address for them. We will send an email to your PPC/Supervisor inviting them to complete a simple online declaration to confirm that they are your sole or principal PPC, that they have fulfilled this role over the past year, and that they are satisfied that you meet the currently required College standards.


Continuing Professional Development (CPD)

If you are a newly trained mediator and have yet to begin practising, you do not need to complete the CPD section. Please tick the box below to verify that you are newly trained and have not yet practised as a mediator.

If you have already been practising as a mediator, submitting your completed CPD document as part of this renewal application is mandatory.

The form below asks you to upload a document summarising your Continuing Professional Development (CPD) activities over the past year. A template for this is available to download here, and we strongly advise you to ensure that this is completed and ready to be uploaded before you begin filling in this form.
